Thursday, April 15 - Dress Rehearsal
5:30PM - All dancers arrive to the studio with hair and make-up ready as if it were competition.
5:30-6:00PM - Warm-Up
6:00-8:30PM - Run all routines (groups, solos, duets, trios) in order they will perform at competition.
Dancers will take home their costumes after dress rehearsal. Bring hangers and garment bags (if you have). DO NOT WASH COSTUMES.
Younger dancers who are only in "Imagine" may leave at 7:30PM.

10:00-1:00 - All dancers arrive at the studio. No make-up, no costumes. We will focus on running group dances.
1:00 - Q&A with Juliana & Brandon about make-up, hair, and anything to do with competition.

Nexstar Competition - Sunday, April 18
Venue - Walled Lake NORTHERN High School (6000 Bogie Lake Rd, Commerce Charter Twp, MI 48382)

- 11:30AM - Dancers arrive to the parking lot of venue. Hair, make-up and eye lashes should be ready by then. Please arrive in your first costume! Notify Brandon/Juliana you've arrived.
- 11:45AM - Brandon & Juliana will lead dancers and parents into the venue. Everyone should wait in designated entrance area while Brandon & Juliana check-in. We will then lead everyone to the dressing room.
- 12:15 - 2:45PM - Dancers perform all routines plus a short awards ceremony. Tentative performance order is below (nexstar_order.pdf).

Spectators - The number of spectators per dancer is 4 per dancer. Please e-mail [email protected] the name and phone number of who will be attending competition. Please observe all social-distancing guidelines and only sit with members of your household when in the auditorium.

- Everyone must fill out a health questionaire before entering the venue. We will have sheets available if you do not have access to print. We will also bring our no-touch thermometer if needed.
- Masks are required to be worn throughout the venue by all dancers and spectators.
- As of now, masks are not required to be worn on stage -- however, we will provide tan, disposable masks for those who wish to wear masks while performing. Dancers will need to wear masks to the backstage area-- We will provide labeled ziplock bags for dancers to store masks in while performing.
- We only have 15 minutes to leave the venue at the end, so parents please help make sure your child's costumes and dance bags are packed up quickly and that the dressing room is left clean and tidy.

Nexstar Photos/Videos and Live Stream - From a Nexstar E-Mail: "In order for you to access the livestream and purchase the 2021 All-Access Pass, you will need to activate your dancer on DanceBUG. Activation is simple and free and should be completed by you prior to the competition." CLICK HERE TO ACTIVATE YOUR DANCER ON DANCEBUG.
The Dance Company did NOT already purchase photos/videos, so you are welcome to do so via DanceBug.
Hair and Make-Up For Competition
Hair - Slick, middle-part low ponytail. Please use a ponytail elastic in a color similar to your hair. Use lots of hairspray and gel! Ponytail hair should be straight.
Earrings - Please make sure you pick-up your earrings from Juliana.
Make-Up - Please reference this document when you are purchasing and applying make-up. If you have any questions, please ask Juliana.
